This program is taking place this Sunday April 27, 2008, from 5:30pm to 6:30pm.
We serve about 150 people every month November through March, and 50 people
every month April through October. If you can help with cooking, please
send an email to Sr. Shahnaz at shahnaz_baten@yahoo.com and/or Sr. Lubna
at lmalik_bina@yahoo.com. If you can help with food setup and serving,
please send an email to me at arshadajmeri@hotmail.com. Donation checks
should be made payable to ICM, with the notation "FEED THE HOMELESS" at
the bottom of your checks, and mailed directly to ICM at

this worthy cause; May Allah SWT reward you for all your efforts in this

The Islamic Center of Maryland Social Services Committee has agreed/adopted
with the Montgomery County Coalition for the Homeless (MCCH) (www.mcch.net),
to provide and serve hot cooked meals to homeless people on the 4th Sundays
of every month to their Men's Emergency Shelter, 600 East Gude Drive,
Rockville MD 20850. ICM started this program in February 2003.
The 2008 dates are: Sundays 1/27/2008, 2/24, 3/23, 4/27, 5/25, 6/22,
7/27, 8/24, 9/28, 10/26, 11/23 & 12/7 (12/7 is the 1st Sunday).
